Bargain prices for East Midlands homes

A string of homes across the East Midlands are up for sale at Bond Wolfe Auction’s next auction event, with budget price tags set to attract keen bidding.

Some of the properties are in need of some DIY skills from their new owners but are listed at prices well below current market value.

A two bedroom mid terraced house at 18 King Street, in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, carries a guide price* of just £24,000-£29,000.

Close to the town centre and local amenities it stands behind a small front garden with two reception rooms and a kitchen on the ground floor, two bedrooms and the bathroom on the first floor and a yard at the rear. The house has gas fired central heating and UPVC double glazing.

Over in Sutton in Ashfield, a three bedroom mid terraced house at 17 Park Street is in need of some modernisation work and, as a result carries a guide price of £34,000-£39,000.

It stands flush to the pavement but has a garden to the rear. Inside, it has a reception and dining room with a kitchen downstairs, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and an attic bedroom above. It too has gas fired central heating and double glazing.

Just half a mile away across the market town 36 St. Michaels Street has a guide price of £50,000+ for a two bedroom mid terraced house, standing flush to the pavement with a yard at the rear. It has gas fired central heating and the majority of the windows are double glazed.

Across the county border in Derbyshire, a three bedroom semi-detached house at 44 Whiteleas Avenue, North Wingfield in Chesterfield, has a guide price of £39,000-£44,000 for a property standing behind a driveway and front garden, with further gardens to the rear.

The ground floor comprises a hall, reception room, kitchen with dining area and a conservatory, with the three bedrooms and bathroom, with a separate shower cubicle, upstairs. It also has a gas fired central heating system and UPVC double glazing.
