Bond Wolfe Auctions set to take Midlands property market by storm
Bond Wolfe, one of the region’s leading property consultants, has launched a new property auction business. The company will be based in newly refurbished offices on Colmore Row, Birmingham with further offices in West Bromwich and Wolverhampton.
The team behind Bond Wolfe Auctions is led by Chief Executive Gurpreet Bassi and Managing Director Ian Tudor who until recently were formerly head of residential and commercial auctions respectively and the backbone of the Bigwood Auction business. The team will be selling a wide variety of residential, commercial, mixed use properties and land throughout the UK in its first auction at Villa Park on Wednesday 13th March.
Gurpreet Bassi said “We will hold six auctions in our first year and we are looking forward to a strong start in March when we hold our first auction of 2019. Our award winning and record-breaking team have over 200 years’ experience of the property auction sector and our track record together with our established business network is unrivalled, we are delighted to have an opportunity to create such a vibrant business from day one.”
The majority of the team were responsible for delivering the Midlands largest ever auction in May 2018 which saw 172 lots go under the hammer.
And 2018 was a momentous year for Gurpreet and his colleagues.
In March he was named Young Business Professional of The Year in The Signature Awards, which highlight executives who are helping to drive the regional business agenda forward.
He was also shortlisted for Birmingham Young Professional of The Year in the Property and Construction category. And in November he and his colleagues were part of the team that was named Company of The Year in The Birmingham Post Awards.
Ian Tudor said “With our ‘Traditional Values, Modern Solutions’ approach, we are delighted to be able to offer our clients, old and new, highly professional, focused and bespoke auction advice whatever their asset. Auctions have traditionally been seen as the preserve of largely residential property, but in recent years we have witnessed commercial property really making its presence felt in the auction room and I am looking forward to helping businesses, corporate, public sector and private clients make the most of their real estate interests. We are confident that offering such a diverse range of properties both locally and nationally from such a central and accessible location will have a real appeal to both vendors and purchasers.”
