Traditional values, modern solutions

The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Asha’s Restaurant Birmingham, has made a contribution of £1,000 to Birmingham Children’s Hospital as part of the hospital’s Donate & Dine scheme.

This vital initiative is designed to raise funds for the hospital’s ambitious project to transform its front entrance. The goal is to create a more welcoming, calming environment for young patients and their families – helping to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress from the moment they arrive. First impressions matter, especially in a hospital setting, and the hospital hopes that a brighter, more friendly entrance will make a significant difference to the experience of every child who needs their care.

The £1,000 donation from Bond Wolfe and Asha’s is part of a wider, growing community effort to make this vision a reality. It reflects the deep commitment of local businesses to supporting the health and wellbeing of Birmingham’s youngest residents.

Sophie Nesbitt from Birmingham Children’s Hospital shared how important community support is:

“Your incredible support this April is helping to make a real difference to the sick kids in our hospital. Every donation will have a huge impact on children like Seb, who has been a patient at our hospital since he and his twin brother were born three months premature.”

Seb’s mom, Liz, also spoke about what the hospital means to their family:

“Seb will be a patient at the hospital until he’s 18 years old, and there’s nowhere else I’d want him to be. The care we’ve all received from everyone at the hospital has been exceptional, but I can’t express how much the new front entrance will transform the experience for families like mine. It will truly represent the world-class care the teams provide before they even reach the front door.”

Lisa Worrall from the Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust stated:

““It’s a pleasure to support BCH with this necessary entrance redevelopment, along with two additional donations of £250 and £100 through other fundraising activities.”
