Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust Donates Essential Supplies and Toys to Birmingham Children’s Hospital
The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust has generously contributed a substantial supply of toiletries, teddy bears, and fidget toys to support the Birmingham Children’s Hospital’s Stuff2Help campaign.
Lisa Worrall, Director – Agency at Bond Wolfe, explained that Stuff2Help was established by Dr. Vicki Currie and her colleagues in the hospital’s A&E department to assist young patients and their families during challenging times.
Ms. Worrall stated:
“We were eager to allocate some of our charitable funds to support the incredible work of the A&E department staff, who provide kit bags to patients, parents, and carers who often arrive with little or no belongings. Every day, parents and carers bring their children to the hospital unexpectedly due to sudden illness or serious accidents. In these moments, bringing basic toiletries is often the last thing on their minds.
“Our donations included essential items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, lip balm, hairbrushes, and deodorant. Additionally, we wanted to bring joy to the young patients, so we included teddy bears and fidget toys, which were kindly donated by our auctions department.”
The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust focuses on raising funds for a wide range of causes that support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
