Bond Wolfe sells former Poundland store in Tunstall
We are pleased to share that we have sold the freehold of a former Poundland store site in Stoke-on-Trent for £270,000.
A private investor has bought the empty 7,240 sq ft store in Tunstall which is potentially suitable for a variety of uses, subject to planning permission.
Garry Johnson, agent at Bond Wolfe, said: “114-116 High Street is a substantial retail property on the High Street in Stoke-on-Trent with generous rear access off Rathbone Street. It sits in the heart of Tunstall town centre with Alexandra Park to the rear where occupiers include national retailers like Boots, Iceland, Home Bargains, Costa Coffee and Specsavers.” Asda, Matalan, Poundland and Argos are also located nearby.
The retail unit comprises a large ground floor area with a rear plant room and loading bay, with the first-floor ancillary accommodation including offices, staff room and locker room.
Garry Johnson added: “We were very pleased to complete a successful sale for our client along with a number of other sales achieved by Bond Wolfe in what is usually a quiet time of the year.”
Law firm Walters & Plaskitt Solicitors of Burslem, Stoke, advised the purchaser and Simpson Jones LLP in Derby acted for the vendor.
