The private investor’s love affair with Acocks Green continues as we have sold another High Street retail investment opportunity in one of Birmingham’s most popular suburbs.

The sale of 1080 Warwick Road, Acocks Green, for £350,000 to a private investor is the latest in a number of successful deals sealed by Bond Wolfe in recent months.

“We are delighted to get this deal over the line, as the latest sale we have concluded in Acocks Green. Private investor demand has been strong for the properties we have offered for sale in this location, and we have only one opportunity remaining at 1092-1096 Warwick Road.”

This latest deal brokered by us is for a High Street retail property which is let to CEX (Franchising) Ltd on a ten year lease, expiring in March 2024, with a passing rent of £33,250.

Recent deals have also included 1100 Warwick Road, a 2,906 square feet  unit let to Shoe Zone on a new five year lease at £32,000 per annum, which also sold for £350,000, and 1098 Warwick Road, leased to Lloyds Bank at £75,000 per annum until 2027, was bought by a private investor for £750,000.

The one remaining property at 1092-1096 Warwick Road, that we currently have for sale, is a retail investment let to Poundstretcher Ltd on a new ten year lease at £60,00) per annum. The 7,974 sq ft premises over two floors is offered freehold for offers in excess of £800,000, equating to an initial yield of 7.11%. Further information from James Mattin on [email protected]
