New Moroccan luxury goods shop is very Moorish!
Commercial property agents Bond Wolfe have helped the Moroccan luxury goods online business open its first high street shop and showroom.
Moroccan Givings has signed a ten-year lease for 28 Alcester Road South, Kings Heath, in Birmingham.
James Mattin, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “Moroccan Givings was set up as an online business but wanted to be able to display their luxury goods.
“This will be their first shop and an excellent showroom for their range of all things Moroccan for the home.”
The premises is in a prominent location with good footfall close to the nearby Lloyds Bank and Sainsbury’s supermarket on a busy main road on the south side of Birmingham. The two-storey premises have a ground floor retail unit with storage/office space above.
The ten-year lease has a break clause at five years, with a stepped rent starting at £20,000 per annum.
James Mattin said: “Despite doom and gloom surrounding retail, we have been really pleased with the number of High Street lettings we have concluded during lockdown conditions.
“This deal is further evidence that there is still confidence in High Street retail and this particular tenant will use a high street presence to strengthen their brand and complement their online sales.”
