Gurpreet’s first experience of working in property was when undertook viewings for the original Bond Wolfe auction department when he was just 17. Following Bond Wolfe’s acquisition of Bigwood, he became a trainee in the residential lettings and auctions aged 20, becoming a full-time lettings and auction negotiator a year later and then an auction valuer in 2011.
Gurpreet developed his client base to include investors, agents, councils, banks, receivers, NHS Trusts and housing associations and was promoted to partner status in May 2015, and went on to lead the Birmingham auction team to break the Midlands’ sales records for 3 years in a row.
Gurpreet has won numerous awards to include the ‘Young Leader of the Year’ award at the Business Desk Leadership Awards in 2019, ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Awards in 2020, ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Signature Awards in 2019 and ‘Young Professional of the Year’ at Signature Awards in 2018.
Outside of work most of Gurpreet’s time is occupied by his two sons – who keep him very busy! He also enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends, and enjoys going to the gym and on holidays. Gurpreet is a keen sports fan, football and boxing in particular, and is a big supporter of Liverpool FC. He has undertaken a number of charity events, one of the most successful being his challenge to visit ’20 Premier league Stadiums in 24 Hours’ for Cancer Research, which he undertook with a few close friends, raising over £25,000.
