Ron has been in the property business for over 50 years. He started his auctions career for Carris’ in Kings Heath, which had the first 100 lot auction in Birmingham. Ron started working at Bond Wolfe some 22 years ago and, through the purchase of Bigwood in 2007 and the merger with Curry and Partners in 2011, has carried on being highly involved with auctions. During this time, some of Ron’s main clients have included Birmingham City Council, City of Wolverhampton Council, Sandwell MBC and Walsall MBC.
Ron enjoys spending his spare time with his partner. They enjoy holidaying together, especially in Egypt, where he has been known to be recognised from his appearances in the BBC’s ‘Homes Under the Hammer’. Ron also enjoys attending Jazz and Blues festivals when he can.
